Preparing for NaNoWriMo

It’s almost November AGAIN! That means it is time for National Novel Writing Month.

I started a novel last year that turned out to be suited to Young Adult Fiction so I set it aside until I studied Young Adult Literature at uni this semester.

Let’s see how I go in November. Can I finish the first draft of A Brother’s Love?

How do you get ready for NaNoWriMo?

I am a planner, so I have revised my outline, allocated word count goals and done as many ‘November’ tasks as I can. I try to have as much time as possible, so I did most of my Christmas shopping and a spring clean in the October Fake Break from uni. Now I just need to have a day’s R&R and get back into it in 6 days.
